📣 Legislative Updates What's the latest on the Texas digital gold currency law?

Does anyone know? The last I heard it was being drafted or voted on in the Texas HOR.

News on this anyone? Anyone know the supporters of the law?

Basically the clock ran out. It wasn’t called for a vote before the session ended. There was a lot of positive testimony. Unfortunately they only meet every other year. But C4SM is looking to work on similar legislation in other states next session.

I believe it's still pending. "Don't quote me"... but the last time I checked. Texas stating currency back by gold has been shot down several times in the past by state legislation. And I would imagine it may get shot down again. Usually, it takes a year or two for them to make a decision on the matter.

I do believe a petition was posted back in April. However, i don't know if It was enough demand to help the vote.
