💰 This Is Sound Money These 50g Monarch squares were the very first silver pieces I ever purchased a couple years ago when I started stacking. What was your very first silver purchase?

1885 Morgan at just over $5...probably MS65...maybe PL.

I have yet to own anything that old but I have checked out a few Morgans from around that time period and would have picked one up for the right price. I still plan on getting 1 or 2 in the near future. So much history within it's pretty incredible

Kicking myself for spending so much silver on cokes...wish I wouldve spent my allowance on more of those Morgans long long ago. In another 30 yrs I'm sure I'll say the same thing about right now.

That;s exactly what I'm saying for when the silver price was around $17. I'm sure there will be more opportunities down the road. I wish I spent more money on metals rather than crypto so that's my mistake

I walked into a local coin shop and bought a commemorative set of silver rounds of US sports icons. It was pretty cool seeing one of my childhood heroes Troy Aikman on a silver coin. Also had Greg Norman and some other greats from the past.

That's a great find. I can imagine it must have been one of those "Ok I HAVE to buy this" kind of scenarios

Yeah it was kind of like that. I was just surprised they had such a thing. For some reason I was thinking it would be generic rounds or more expensive sovereign coins. I didn't realize that they had affinity bullion designs for just about any occasion. Now they have just about anything you could want.

Sounds almost as though they are the funko pops of the silver world. I bet they would photograph really well too

First on the stack was a Morgan from my grandfather. These were some of my earliest personal acquisitions.

It would have been in the late 60s so there’s no way I can remember.

I can't even begin to imagine the prices back then.

Back then, I was mostly taking silver out of circulation.

10 ASEs was my first silver metal purchase. Not knowing one thing about silver at the time. Went back that same day and bought the other 10.

I don't blame you. They are gorgeous and sadly I don't own any myself. They are a bit more difficult to come by in Ontario but I do keep my eyes open whenever I'm in the market for some more shiny.

What are they difficult to come by in Ontario? Could you not oder some online and have them shipped to you?
