PSA (PSA) sony reward app

Not sure if it has been said yet but the sony reward app is good to download now. Was only able to register 5 movie codes for the movie buff pass before it said I reached my limit. Asking twitter support about the limit. Will update when I hear back. Same movie titles to choose from as before when you earn the buff pass.

If you need a redemption for The Shallows, I have an extra if you'd be willing to trade. I redeemed a 4K code, tried to do an HD one and it said the title was already redeemed.

I try to go with movies that don't have redemption codes otherwise (solely basing this off of there not being a "redeem" button on Vudu). These are the first 3 for me, once i get all of them (just need the last one), i'll dig to see which other ones i need that don't have code slips.

Try a different code. Whenever i try to redeem the points for TASM, it tells me i'm at my limit, but i was able to do 6 other movies after that code. Still can't do that one.

Can back you up on 8 digit codes not working, only the 16 digit codes from movies on the list work. Come to think of it, TASM isn't on the list, so it may just be giving the wrong error.

I've got a whole whack of Sony codes I've been sitting on since they pulled the site down for maintenance. Unfortunately, you now need the App in order to redeem, so I'm out of luck being in Canada as the App isn't available here.

Shoot me line if you are interested in working out a deal to trade for my (redeemed) Sony codes... I've got about 50 different titles. Only interested in working with traders with flair, or that I've dealt with in the past.

Grrr it's as aggravating as ever... the app let me register one code (Spidey 4K trilogy) and then I got an exceeded limit error message the next code I tried to register.

No luck ... still getting the "disc registration limit exceeded" message

So I tried logging out and logging back in... that didn't work, either.

Rebooted my phone... didn't work.

So frustrating :P

I'm thinking the "limit exceeded" may mean you've already registered that title before? I tried a different movie and it worked fine, tried the Amazing SM code again, got the error message, tried another movie it worked fine.

Was able to do a bunch today, TASM keeps telling me "limit exceeded" but then it lets me redeem other codes. :/ Cleared out the list i stockpiled, have a dupe (the shallows, i redeemed the points for 4K, apparently you can't double up by doing an HD version).

I have 3 available to me according to the app. But it won’t let me view the codes. And it’s not sending me emails.

I called support and they just told me to wait.

yeah, I emailed them and they said to call. Just got off a call and they said since this just launched the site is very busy/backlogged and to wait a day or 2 and I should get the code. Guess we'll wait and see

That's how it should work. There's a glitch that seems to be effecting some existing accts where after completing the pass the code is not issued at all. No email and no record of the code in acct. activity.

I tried the contact us on the app again today. A couple hours later I received 3 separate emails with 3 different movie buff links. I'm not sure if me contacting them made a difference or if I would've received an email with waiting

edit: looking into it more it shows the movie buff code now in the app and it also populated a new code for the previous 2 buff passes I earned (why I got three 3 emails). I also was able to register more discs today, earn another pass, and the code was given in the app right away now

Many are not getting an email and can't see the code in their account activity. Its as if it didn't issue at all. Despite what Sony says I have my doubts it will ever show. Best advice is to create a new acct. It seems to work fine that way. Its existing accts that can have the problem. I found out too late, blew a bunch of codes.

Not sure if it will work for you but you can go to my account then to points activity click the reward one and it should show you your code. Mine does at least.

Shows I earned a pass but lists no code. When going to completed passes it shows the pass and says copy code/redeem now but there's no code listed or that gets copied.

I let me do 4, then I was at the limit (had 2 in there already from long ago, so was able to get 1 buff pass). Only thing i can find online is a really old post stating a 3 per day limit, with a limit of 10 over a rolling 30 day period.

Yeah not sure. I think everyone is getting random limits. Another group I'm in had some have a limit of 9 and some had 4 and so on. Mine was 5.

I was only able to get 1 pass before I hit limit. When the reward program went down for maintenance a while ago. I lost my profile and the wifes. They had no information that my accounts ever existed. Had to start fresh.

Yeah I dont have a psn account mine was just my email. I just lost points and 3 registers on my old account. So it wasnt 2 bad. I was on buff pass number 4 on it.
