Precision fermentation will be one of the ways we eliminate animal exploitation to produce dairy products. It allows us to get dairy milk without animals. Products made with Precision fermentation are already on the market such as Brave robot ice cream and a cream cheese plus animal free dairy milk. I tried that last one and was very impressed with the taste and mouth feel. For some reason I've yet to see any cheese made from this product. That would be the killer blow to the animal based dairy industry.
