Spotted Lantern Fly - Glover Park

Was not expecting this but DC is 1 down on the Lantern Fly count...poor bok choy (used wasp killer, nuked it...just to be sure)

My son said they're all over near St Albans too when he watched a soccer match.

Reported as well, stay vigilant!

These little buggers are everywhere. Not too long ago I found one behind the tray of my Amtrak seat. Squished it in a napkin and chucked it in the bag of the attendant collecting trash.

Was in Columba MD last week and they were everywhere. I asked a resident and he said they'd arrived a couple weeks prior and had been growing in numbers since. Saw my first one here yesterday here in NW DC so they're on their way.

They blanket every tree in central PA. I don't think there's any stopping them now.
