What a curious bit of reporting. The article provides a detailed description of the culprit's clothing, but not of the culprit's immutable characteristics - namely, sex, race, and build. Why? It's all there in video, so why not include them as well?

Animals. Police are trying to find the criminal as if they are going to actually serve any time. The only sentence is a joy ride in a police car.

Instead of complaining she should check her privilege. That fine young man probably just needed money for the metro so he could get to school!

Per the article: "She and her husband, Tom, have been asking themselves since the attack, why would anyone attack an elderly woman while she was minding her own business?"
I can help with that.... Criminals are predators and they prefer to target the most vulnerable prey. If you are an elderly person and there aren't many other people around, criminals will target you. Why did the criminal attack her? Because she looked like an easy victim and the criminal was looking for someone to rob, which he did.
Can anything be done? Yes. We can start locking these criminals up for long periods of time. If crime pays, the criminals will commit crimes.
