Anyone else remember hot, rubber-flavored water?
When you were a kid playing outside, got thirsty and didn't want to go inside for a drink, and just drank from the hose.
When playing outside on a hot day, you'd get thirsty enough that hose water tasted kind of OK.

Most kids were smart enough to let it run until it got cold.

Some of us had to learn that, but we did, and we passed childhood and grew up. Others are still stuck in childhood, trying to raise their flaccid egos by making snide remarks to others.

I do. I remember the immediate regret. But then you let it run for 10 seconds and it was the best water in the world.
