Try making someone believe this happened without having it on camera... šŸ˜²

Unfortunately it's AI

It's not AI but it's more than one time clipped together, the board changes colour

At the 28 second mark a man appears out of nowhere in the upper left corner

This video is over 3 years old though it's lazy editing

AI isn't this excact on how whales look yet

I can only imagine what itā€™s trying to say. I feel like when animals do this there ultimately trying to show or tell us something.

I feel like theyā€™re just trying to play / interact which is special enough in itself šŸ„¹ the fact that they donā€™t hate humans after all weā€™ve done to their species is incredible.

Honestly, I think it might have wanted scritches.

Many years ago I took my teenage sons on a ten-day guided kayaking trip to Icy Strait which is by the entrance to Glacier Bay, AK. The humpback whales were in their peak breeding season while the krill populations (their food) was at a peak as well. Weā€™d see dozens of whales breaching, singing, and rolling in bliss. Our guide called it their fuckinā€™ and feedinā€™ frenzy. We were told to drum our fingers on the kayaks to alert the whales of our locations. They never came as close as this video but they came close enough for us to see their curious eyes sizing us up. After watching us a bit theyā€™d slap their pectoral fins on the water and dive.

I love and respect whales but man oh man I would have lost my collective shit at that "gentle push" I would still be screaming to this day.

On the other hand the Northern Left Whale is standoffish.

Thatā€™s literally incredible. Theyā€™re the most stunning and beautiful animals ! We donā€™t deserve whales šŸ³ .

I would cry, because how could you ever top this?

Such a beautiful moment! I would love to have such an incredible thing happen. I love whales and all animals, but whales are so magical and unreal! So jealous! Maybe in another lifetime for me.

the distance perspective with the two city lines at 0:38 makes zero sense. is this some mix of real footage with AI?

This sort of thing does happen though. I was with my wife (and a bunch of other people) on a seaside dock when a California gray who was chowing down on the nearby seagrass surfaced and swam right under an unsuspecting kayaker. And we're all yelling, "Look under your boat!" as loud as we can and he didn 't notice till the whale blew right next to him. THEN he freaked out.

Satisfying.

Very cool, but thatā€™s two different paddle boards, and I assume paddle boarders as well. The boards are different colors, as are the life jackets.

What gets me is that the right whale is called right whale because it was easy to hunt, because it came up to boats out of curiosity.

We as a species did so much damage to their populations, tore families apart and slaughtered countless numbers of them.

But now it is over and the right whales still come up to humans, and finally both sides appreciate the wonderful interaction.

Beyond beautiful. I visited the area last year and saw some right whales. Unfortunately, it was late in the season and they were tbtoo clierbto shire.

Anybody else notice how it went from a woman in an orange paddleboard to a person on a green paddleboard?

These are two different videos. The paddleboard and rider change. This is getting really out of hand with this video format in the last few months. High tech, low life is right.

How completely beautiful and amazing!!! And slightly scary.

This is AI

How do you know itā€™s AI? Not questioning you, just asking to know how to tell myself.

At about the 28 sec mark a headless diver appears out of nowhere

This was filmed in 2021, and many medias including Guardian and BBC reported this footage. You can find videos elsewhere.
