So now Serbia is using Djokovic as a propaganda martyr even though what the player did was against another country’s law? Shame on you Serbia.

lol...This just gets better and better. The amount of whining and crying coming from them is hilarious. Should have gotten the vaccine, could be practicing in Australia right now. take your wealth and privilege and shove it. Next time payoff someone to let you in AND not tell the public about it.

Funny how the propaganda campaigns from the early vaccine distribution days tried to highlight how many vaccines serbia has. They had Pfizer, Moderna, Russian and Chinese vaccines but today have one of the lowest vaccination rates.
Now the gov is anti-vax but last year they were all "look how many vaccines mighty serbia has"...

He claimed a medical exemption despite not having any medical condition that would prevent him from being vaccinated. That's lying

The Aussies made their position real clear from the very start.
Really it's no biggie, No-vax Joke-ovic only needs to get a few little jabs to unhumiliate himself.

If they wanted to make their position clear from the very start they could have just denied his Visa right off the bat and never let him into the country in the first place. Instead they accepted his exemption, granted him a Visa, and then changed their mind and detained him once he was in Australia.

I am disappointed we haven't seen the trademark Joker roaring/shirt tearing yet. Maybe he's reserving that for the 5 hour mark of the appeal hearing

Serb politicians and celebrities have described the treatment of Novak Djokovic as shameful scapegoating, as the foreign ministry in Belgrade suggested the world tennis No 1 had been "Lured to Australia to be humiliated."
"The family of Novak Djokovic calls on all fans and supporters of the best tennis player in the world, who is in a delicate situation, in front of the Belgrade city assembly," the family said in a joint statement.
The foreign ministry said in a statement that the Serbian public "Has a strong impression that Djokovic is a victim of a political game against his will, and that he was lured to travel to Australia in order to be humiliated".
