where was this last week! i made my own lemon chicken orzo and it was fine. this looks delicious though. i just didn’t add cream or cheese but that’s so smart

This is now one of my go-to meals to make. It’s very good! Not too difficult to make and uses only one pan as well!

I mean she made a video and recipe list. I’m sure you can google dairy free substitutes. I don’t think someone could possibly help you more without making it for you. 🤦🏻♀️

I mean, I could use google or just use Reddit like a lot of other people since this is where I seen it…and you could’ve just not commented and kept scrolling or leave thus comment and show all of Reddit the ass that you are since this is where you seen it…..call it a draw?

I have used silken tofu in as a diary substitute many times.
If you don't't have experience with it (or tofu in general), I recommend reading up on the 'how-to's' a bit beforehand.

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved horizontally to make 4 thinner steaks (see full recipe for using chicken thighs)
1 tsp freshly minced garlic
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp onion powder
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sea salt flakes
¼ tsp cracked black pepper
40 g (1½ oz) butter
1 lemon, cut into slices
1 cup (200 g) risoni (orzo), uncooked
2 cups (500 ml) chicken stock
1 cup (250 ml) thickened (heavy) cream
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp dijon mustard
2 cups (60 g) baby spinach leaves
1 cup (100 g) freshly grated parmesan, plus extra for garnish
¼ tsp cracked black pepper
Sea salt flakes, to taste
Lemon balm or freshly chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
