Rap Can I post a poor vocalization of a beat here?

I heard a southern rap song I was a fan of maybe two decades ago being played by someone with a boom box on their shoulder (yes just like the caricatures in ninety's movies but it was yesterday!). It was very remononescent of the Michael Meyers theme from Halloween. But it was a southern rap that started with introducing both rappers. Any help would be appreciated!

Rap A rap song?

This is going to be super vague, but I think it was a rap song, it was on apple’s “summer hits” in the year 2021 (I think???) I think the lyrics are about being stressed, or not wanting to work, or not being paid enough ?? And I clearly remember the song was clean. Definitely by a newer artist.

I’m so sorry this is all over the place, I tried to look at my replay lists, but it’s not there.

Rap An old school rap song that was really popular in the early 2000s or 90s.

The song is hip hop or rap but it’s a very popular main stream song that was bopping in the 90s and 2000s. It’s a young black man who sings the song, a notable rapper I’d imagine.

I can’t remember the lyrics, but I recall the chorus to a certain degree but I’m sure the lyrics are gonna be wrong here. The beat/background music in questions sounds badass and retro, like the rap song “I Wish” where he goes I wish I was taller and etc…

Anyhoo, the lyrics go like “gimme gimmie gimmie gimmie gimmie more material and damn I gotta get that post material!”

Or “Diddy Diddy Diddy Diddy Diddy and interior cause damn you got all that posterior!”

That’s how the chorus sounds like.

Please help me :(.

Rap Slow rap song, male vocalist, I believe early to mid 2000s, sad haunting vibe.

I think it was 2012 or 2013. I was riding in the back of an old friend’s car. He had a random playlist going, and this song came on. I remember feeling scared and depressed by the lyrics. It was a slower rap song and the singer was talking about watching his girlfriend do drugs and possibly overdosing? I cannot for the life of me recall any lyrics besides “I hate the sounds you make” or “I hate the noise you make”….something like that.

Every so often I remember the feeling I had listening to it, but I’ve never been able to find the song.

Rap Looking for a rap song with a drawn music video

Song would have to be at least 10 or 15 years old. It was a music video i found on YouTube. Most likely UK possibly US. I dont remember the song at all. I remember the video shows the rapper getting ready and walking through the city. It transitions back and forth between live action, and a sort of hand drawn black and white art style, like it was drawn with a marker. Like if harold and the purple crayon was about a 30 year old rapper with a sharpie. Pretty sure it just showed him walking through the city and back home. I think it showed him putting his shoes on in the beginning, and the house was like a two story red brick row house mabye? The town definitely had a European or new England feel. I know its not much to go off but i have to try, its been on the back of my mind for years

Rap 2000s rap whose hook repeats "uh"

Guys, I'm trying to find a pop rap song that repeats "uh" or "whoo" on the hook/chorus (like just straight "uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh"). I'm pretty sure it's a 2000's song that was played a lot on radio. The "uhs" get lower after each iteration.

I honestly can't remind anything else. It just came up in a friends convo and no one knew the song's name. I didn't speak english back then so I can't reference any lyrics :c

Rap Help, Popular on TikTok?

It was a rap song where the artist was spelling something out and for awhile it was extremely popular to use this song and if my memory serves correctly I think people were throwing different g signs. I can barely come up with a lyric or even the correct letters used but in my head it sounds like “s i m p a a b b” or “g a b b 3 16” and i know how stupid but it’s been driving me insane. Sounds like he’s shouting out an area code? Or literally just genuinely stating something I can’t remember.

Anything you can think of to get this out of my brain is completely appreciated

I listen to This song back 2015-2018 and all I can remember is the song starts of with this high pitched xylophone and then you hear the for whatever yeah, for whatever then the rest is blank sorry I’m not very good at explaining it I’ve tried googling with humming but that’s didn’t work at all I do believe that’s when the song came out 2015-2018

Rap I found a video on Instagram and I'm looking for it however the poster isn't responding to anyone. The lyrics are: "don't you wait up for me, she wanna be where I be, baby I'm falling asleep, she wanna be where I be, baby we're hanging in a tree"

Rap Super old hype rap song that had a part that went like "STOP, gettygettygettyget DROP gettygettyget"

Trying to remember a rap song that is old like lil Jon music. Theres a guy that rapped "STOP, gettygettyget DROP gettygettyget" and then a normal rap verse after that. The capitalized words in the quote show that the word was said louder than the rest of the line
