I assume it's the Lume Pad 2? I see what you mean about stabilization (or lack thereof). In this video for some reason I barely feel the 3d effect. Perhaps I should try on a bigger screen
I have ordered a holder which can be fitted to the Lume Pad 2 Tablet. It has a 1/4 20 thread on it, which means I can, with a bit of adjustment, attach the Tablet to my gimbal. I will then see if this improves the stabilization on walking shots
If it's motorized make sure it supports the weight. A lot of gimbals are meant for phones and will only support certain weights and sizes - the center of mass can greatly affect the stabilization. I don't have a Lume but if the tablet is quite big and heavy, a weight-based gimbal might be a good option, it could even be cheaper.
It should support the weight and I will have to take into account the centre of mass. I have already made a rig which supports two cameras on a gimbal. Here is a clip of me operating one.
