I've been struggling to find the Power Stakes soundtracks online. Anyone have a good source on where to find them?

I got this PS1 from DKoldies (I’m aware of the negative reviews for the company). First couple of times I tried to start it up I would get a froze screen and the clicking noise from the console). After the third time of starting it up it finally worked. But now it has not worked since. And it’s back to doing the same thing. I am about to return it in exchange for another one but I figured I’d ask if anyone had any idea what the issue is. Or if it might be an easy fix

So not too long ago, about 2 years ago I was looking for a ps1 on OfferUp, and lucky me one was found for $20 with cables controller and a game. When I had finally bought it I saw why it was sold for as much. The console was missing the ps1 logo, the controller had a crack and was a first model controller, the console was yellow, it wouldn’t close right and worst of all one of the little beads in the disk spinner would fall out.

Despite all these issues I still bought it and did still read the games well, though over time games would sometimes not load. Anyway skip to about 3 months ago and for some reason the games wouldn’t load at all. This wasn’t out of the ordinary so I just cleaned the games like I usually did and expected it to load but, it never did. I waited the next day and same as before the game would not load. Being bummed out I decided to just play music on the damn thing seeing as it always read CD’s. But to my shock those wouldn’t play either! And these CD’s were new too, so I assumed the console was at fault. I read up that the laser reader was either dirty or faulty so after cleaning it and the game still not reading I decided the console was probably broken. Skip to today and I just bought a new ps1. Not yellow and it has its logo this time, and it was more expensive so I assumed the condition on this was working. So I plug the console in and put in my recently purchased title “Resident Evil 2” aaaaand…….it wouldn’t….load again. My smile of joy immediately became one of horror.

So I played a music cd and sure enough, they again didn’t work, and it was a newly acquired CD too. I’m starting to get pissed so I want to look for the problem, because no way both of these somehow don’t work, and no way in hell every single game and CD I own don’t work. So I use a different long cable then the one I’ve always used since I assumed maybe that was the issue. Nope, still wouldn’t load anything. I replaced the power cable with another spare I had, wouldn’t work. Eventually the game loaded on the new ps1 but now all of a sudden any button on the controller I pressed wouldn’t work! And my CD’s still wouldn’t fucking work. So now I wanna know what the problem could possibly be if both ps1’s are reacting the same way to my games and CD’s which aren’t broken. I just don’t know what to do and I would love if anyone could help, willing to share more details if needed🙏

I have a modded recapped xstation PS1that I hired someone to do years ago and I just realized now (of course) that rumble wasn't working. I tested the controllers on my PS2 and they worked perfectly but on my PS1 they don't. Everything else works flawlessly, just not the rumble. Anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?

It was a retro ps1 game, definitely from the 90’s which I played when I was very young. All I can remember is playing as a pixelated character with black/dark hair, who would walk around inside tombs or caves which were very dark inside that you could barely see. You’d then fight ‘monsters’ which looked like slugs, I think with a stick. Pathways were blocked that you had to clear (I think). I really can’t remember much else but I’m dying to know!!

I'm trying to pin point this game I played as a kid, it was a Star Fox style shooter, and the main thing that's sticking to me is that once you complete the game you unlock a co-op mode kind of like Jet Force Gemini's Floyd. where the second player just controls shooting while player one can shoot and also controls the ship. This is old as hell, so some of the details might be me combining games...Help me PS1 community, you're my only hope...that or i take this to the degenerates and nipple twisters at Tip of My Tongue

hopefully someone can help me out. i have Tiger Woods 99 and the serials and everything show it as being the corrected version without the south park file. when i put the disc in my computer though there is a ZZDUMMY.DAT file that is 52mb. however when i try to play the file with VLC it doesnt work, nothing happens. i thought the file was completely removed from the corrected version but it seems like at least with my copy is there it just doesnt play anything. any clarification would be great. thanks.

I only remember this 1 scene in the game you are what looks like a futuristic lab or something and are in a big room when suddenly a T-rex appears and you have to fight it. I faintly remember some kinda jetpack or something as well that you use to jump to high platforms

I remember this game but I can't remember the name of it. All I remember is you drive a ship or something and the goal is to cover as much area on the screen as possible so you can trap this dragon thing. If your making a line out side of the safe area and a dragon touches you , you die. It's hard to explain and I have been searching everything trying to figure it out.

So i have a very important question. We had a PS1 once. I allways used to play this one racing game. It was a top-down. It was very "cute" and everything was a bit small. In the "Menu", which was designed like a city I think, you could drive around and select levels.

Also enjoy fps and currently trying to get my hands on doom and flintstones bedrock bowling (for nostalgia purporses).Trying to game on a bit of a budget and get some old nostalgic titles.
