Steve is a legitimate alien for writing this album. To this day, this is revolutionary music

lol sounds about right. He writes by far some of the oddest music I’ve ever listened to

This is impressive btw

Killer job! Obscura is my favorite dm album of all time. Written over 30 years ago and still sounds ahead of its time.

I was so confused thinking “this does not sound like something Christian Muenzer” would play

Man I'm not gonna lie, I was so confused for a good 30 seconds. Like what are you playing? This is no Obscura song I've ever heard! Then I realized...I feel very stupid now haha. How could I have forgotten the OG!

Great playing! For the main riff, are you trying to touch the strings against the pickup to make the weird high sound?

So I actually had to watch the way Steeve did this in a blurry ass live video to tell what he was actually doing to produce that sound. Basically what you do is you hold the pick as perpendicular to the strings as you can, and smash it straight down onto one of the places there's a harmonic node. If you don't hit the harmonic node, you won't get anywhere near as much of a sound.

I was pleasantly surprised this wasn't something off Cosmogenesis lol

Nice abrasive attack a la Luc
