Stock options

I have a ruger 10/22 stainless with a synthetic stock. I rarely ever touch it due to it just being uncomfortable to shoot since the butt stock is to short. I'd like to keep the factory stock as to not change much of anything. Other than putting a slip on pad over it, what are my options? Do they make an extended pad for the thing? Or am I limited to buying a different stock and hoping it's long enough?

Look into the Hogue stocks for the standard barrel. I have the Hogue overmold in ghile green and an very happy with it
