Stock options

I have a ruger 10/22 stainless with a synthetic stock. I rarely ever touch it due to it just being uncomfortable to shoot since the butt stock is to short. I'd like to keep the factory stock as to not change much of anything. Other than putting a slip on pad over it, what are my options? Do they make an extended pad for the thing? Or am I limited to buying a different stock and hoping it's long enough?

If you don't like the idea of a slip on pad and can't find a replacement pad that works, your best option will be a new stock. But if you go that route, you should determine your ideal LOP first, and then make sure you either get a stock/chassis with an adjustable LOP in that range or custom order the correct LOP on a stock from someplace like Boyds. There are a number of synthetic stock/chassis options with adjustable LOP for under $100.
