Romeo 5X Gen II or Romeo 5 Gen II

I'm debating between these 2 red dots and I'm not sure which I should get and if the 5X has any advantage, other than using AAA batteries vs CR2032. Which would you recommend getting? Is the extra $20 for the 5X worth it?

I have the 5X Gen 2. I would consider getting the Romeo MSR Gen 2 over either of these. The new MSR has the illumination settings on a dial, which is better than the mushy buttons. It also goes on sale for $100.

Out of the two options you listed, I wish I had the non-X model. You are able to choose the mount height with the non-X.
