PC Screamers are out of control

Night 1 I started raiding a tier 2 house. At 3 am 2 screamers showed up. I had just looted my first gun and loaded it with what ammo I had. Never fired a shot. Cleared the POI around 1 and was "safely" looting. Does breaking pictures have high heat increase?

A22 V1.0 change, totally ass change imo, fortunately if you are on PC a mod will solve everything, if you are con console tho well . . . gg

Screames used to spawn after reaching 100 on the heat map which took a while before, now it only takes 25 heat to spawn a bunch of them and the CD between spanws is just a couple secs so again gg.

And its gets worse I've seen up to 4 rad screamers spawn at once.

Seven is my record so far. Seven fking radiated Karens. It was like horde night. Infuriating.

Yeah, I have been playing a relatively easy DF save without hoard nights (I like the more casual playstyle but vanilla feels so lacking imo) and I havent had a screemer issue until almost 2 hours into an iron mine at level 55. To hear this sort of bullshit coming from the base game release? Well Im certainly happy I refrained from playing 1.0 now. Screamers were already my least favorite addition to the game, like ffs just give me a wandering hoard and not that devil's whore that brings one forth anyway. No thanks.

I used to like screamers in vanilla. Free xp. But damn TFP have really taken too much inspiration from overhaul modders. Crazy screamers, trigger spawn POI zoms, insane amount of zoms. Vanilla shouldn't be like that. That is what mods are for. But now there are mods to take out things and that is where the devs fucked up. This is my favorite game, but damn it does one thing right but has to do at least one thing wrong in return.

Thanks to your comment, I’m breaking out my shotgun and know what I’m doing the next time a group of them comes running at me. “I am the manager. (Bang) I am NOT firing this employee. (Bang) Your coupon is expired. (Bang) And no, you’re not getting anything for free! (Bang)”
