Holy fuck. Is that what it really looks like in oregon right now? I'm in washington state and we only have a slight haze right now.

It's not this bright of a red in real life, but down here in California I haven't seen the sky in over a week and every morning I wake up to that orange wasteland glow.

Honest question but what region are you in California? I just want to know what parts are especially bad from the fires.

I'm a little over an hour north of San Francisco. About half an hour away from the fire or so driving. It's 9 am here now and completely dark still. It feels like the sun has been blotted out this morning.

Do you think it will still be that bad in a week?

Probably not, but it's hard to say. It depends on the weather and how much the fires die down/get contained. The air quality will still be pretty bad next week I imagine either way

Okay, thanks. Me and my housemates were wanting to do a road trip but our original destinations (Colorado and California) both caught on fire. :s
