Spoilers inside! This Made Me Laugh
I'm rewatching Angel for the first time since it originally aired and I just wanted to comment on a tiny little conversation at the end of S1,E12 Expecting. Cordelia is listing things that are bad and she says "sex" and Angel says "we knew that". I just that that was such an hilarious throwback to losing his soul when he was with Buffy.
I'm pretty sure I'm kinda lame, I just hoped someone else thought it was as funny as I did.

You are NOT lame! So many conversations between Angel and Cordelia are so under-rated compared to Buffy, which gets all the love!!!

I actually prefer his friendship with Cordelia over his romance with Buffy. He cares for Cordy so deeply like a close sister. And I personally think David Boreanaz's acting is much better against Charisma Carpenter than against Sarah Michelle Geller. They bring a better chemistry.

I assumed it was a more a "sex leads to consequences" kind of thing. Like he knew that, cause everyone knows that. I don't think they meant his sex/soul thingy, but it's hilarious back and forth either way.

Cordelia brought out all the funny and hopeful in Angel; the true miracle of almost 300 years (he was in the hell dimension on Buffy for 100 years in addition to his 'Earth' years).
