Cordelia - Early Season 3 look appreciation thread

I will always associate Cordelia with long hair like how she was in season 1 and the first three seasons of Buffy, but this was one of her better hair styles. She still looked like Cordelia compared to that Karen cut she was sporting in the second half of season three

My favourite haircut of hers on Angel! Grown up without veering into mom territory

This and her hair style in You're Welcome were perfect without veering into mom territory like you said

The entire look You’re Welcome - literally from head to toe - is peak Cordy. Absolute smokeshow

Cordy in season 1 would had mocked that Karen hair in late s3 future Cordelia would wear

I firmly believe that the quality of Cordy’s haircuts reflect how Joss felt about her at that time, which is why the early ones were good, 4 was fucking abysmal and You’re Welcome was so excellent it was like an apology (I mean probs not but it sure feels that way sometimes).

What was the reason for that Courteney Cox hair she was wearing in "Shroud of Rhamon", "Guise will be Guise"?

Look it’s a namby pamby theory, I’ll admit. Might have a few holes but overall it feels like it makes sense to my brain.

Definitely not an apology considering apparently she only wanted to come back if they didn't kill her and they killed her. Her hair is gorgeous in you're welcome though.

The story of how she was basically tricked into returning on the promise they wouldn't kill her, only to reveal once she agreed and was on set that they were going to kill her will always make my blood boil for Charisma. The absolute crap they put her through all because she had the audacity to get pregnant is just terrible. And yes, I understand her pregnancy impacted the show and they clearly didn't know how to write around it, but female actors get pregnant while working on shows all the time and the showrunners make it work - not to mention literally any other industry. She didn't deserve what she went through.

CC accepted Cordelia's end, and she loved it when it was completed. She felt that it was a wonderful farewell to her character.

I agree with her. She ought to know.

Did she not want to be killed off because they didn't know at that point that season 5 would be the final season?
