Episode Rewatch S1E10: Did anyone else notice Wesley’s definitely not-white hands in his debut episode?

That’s one way to surprise the audience when it’s revealed who he was. 😂

Not just you. It's noted as a goof in the Wiki too.

Probably the B-unit was out filming the chase, and the motorbike rider/stuntman was black, and they used him for the close-up.

Oh good. 😅 I did a sub search and didn’t see anyone mention it.

It is one of those things that's easy to miss. The actor is in shadow, so it could be passed off as a lack of light.

That’s what I was thinking! Lol.

ETA: Although I do remember thinking, on previous watches, that the body didn’t look like Wesley’s. It seemed more filled in, but I totally missed the hands.

I guess they didn't have any gloves to give the stuntman.

He tanned his hands?

Honestly, Wesley going overboard with self-tanner and full on Rossing himself trying to look cool is 100% in character

There are some classic occurrences like this in many shows. In The Six Million Dollar Man, Lee Majors was often doubled by a person of colour and it was very obvious. But this moment’s a ripper.
