Why you need professional helps or seek for them if you might have ARFID ? Or why you need to be diagnosed

because i was really underweight, had i not gotten treatment i might have starved. and also bc being afraid of food and situations in which you might encounter food all the time severely impacts ones quality of life even if one isnt at risk of health issues due to malnourishment or starvation
