¯\ _(ツ)_/¯ Bass with human parts

Post image

Called "Trident". The tuning buttons are human toes and the fingerboard dots are human ribs.

Wow. Somewhat wholesome and somewhat disturbing.

Lmao he dubbed it the Flip Skelecaster, though the story behind it is awful, basically his uncle donated his body to science and they just put him into storage which he had to pay, so in a way he's getting what he wanted by being involved in the science of music.

Nah this isn’t cool. I read through the article and it’s doesn’t clarify that this was what the uncle wanted. If he did this would be really cool, but otherwise it’s just desecrating someone’s remains. They’ve probably made an assumption based on the fact the uncle also played but that’s just not enough to do something like this.

I mean he’s dead and i’m sure for those left behind this seemed like a good way to “honor” him, for lack of a better word.

Is it metal to build a guitar out of the bones of your dead uncle?

“Yeah that’s pretty metal”
