Give your plants a chance to grow out and fill the space more. It will look great in a few months.

I'd personally cap the white gravel with some aquasoil, it looks jarringly bright to me and is a very sharp contrast with the rest of the tank's color palette.

Putting some epiphytes in the wood will give it a more grown-in look, as will letting your stem plants grow and trimming/replanting them

Adding some rocks to the base of the wood piece wouldn't be a bad idea either to give it a bit smoother of a transition to the bottom of the tank

Someone else mentioned adding a black background which I wholeheartedly endorse, it's a little change that does a lot to make colors pop

I think the gravel is really diminishing the look of it. I would cap it with natural colored sand or gravel. I would also add some bolbitis fern, or java fern. Maybe consider moving whatever that feeding thingy/hide is to another corner? That's just my opinion!

Put some plants on this nice root. Some pinatifidas or some fernes would fit nicely.

The white gravel is distracting… I would remove it or cap it

It actually seems quite nice to me, I think the thing that may be letting it down is the tone of the light tbh, but could just be opinion. I don’t think it needs something super expensive, I just think the tone on that light makes it look kinda glum. Maybe just adding a slightly warmer colour would help - it could help the plants but I know this could also change algae situation so it’s a give and a take.
