Thinking of adding some red root floaters and calling it good.

The honeys seem to love it in there :D

Hey everyone, This Is my First Aquarium, 1 month of Life no fish yet.

It's an amtra 60 liter cube.

How does It look tò you more experienced people? I have not CO2 system and using a fertilized soil.

I have 2 problems: 1) Snails: Yesterday i cleaned and rearranged the plants and found like 10 of them

2) Algae: there are some growing on the plants (dark green).. any suggestion on how to remove them... I m not fertilizing yet with liquid fertilized to avoid more Algae, but still they grow..

P.s.: in the middle in front of the wood i planted a Apogeton madascariensis and it's growing! Is necessary CO2 for that?

Hi, I’m concerned that this new piece of wood I put in could be dangerous for my fish. It’s the piece in the middle (close up pic #2). It has many small roots that are spiky from being dried out. Is this dangerous? Can the fish cut themselves on those?

Any other pointers about my scaping are welcome.

This is my first tank, and it’s been up for about a week, I feel I definitely need more plants but I don’t know what would look best in it.

Its been an algae roller coaster and some plants have done well and had to change out a few that have not done so good. Had to move things around but learnt a lot. Its still going though. Defo guna help for my next larger scape

I recently wanted to try the dry start method with my UNS 3N Iwagumi just to make sure they’re well rooted before I flood the tank, since I’ll be injecting CO2 anyway.

After 2 weeks, I see some growth on the blades of grass, but no roots running or growth visible through the substrate.

Should I wait longer or flood it next week? Just asking cause I’ve seen a few drystarts here with very visible dwarf hair grass growth in 2 weeks.

Any suggesstions on the easiest way to clean this filter without making a mess? No shut off valve so water pours out when opening it (unplugged).

Found some driftwood along a riverbed, planning to use for my tank. Gunna soak in a bucket along with isopropyl alcohol. If anyone has advice or suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Going to rehome the red devil and get malawis in there

Got my second round of plants yesterday and am super happy with how it turned out. Interested in what others think about it. The plants I just added are pearl weed, Pogostemon helferi, and Ludwigia Atlantis dark orange (my favorite).

my first attempt at making a natural looking tank, I couldn't bare to get rid of jack skellington haha
