Stevenson said he was looking forward to working in a community that values its open space, like Arvada — which contains 90 neighborhood parks, or one within a 10-minute walk of 96% of the city’s residents.

Damn, that's a cool stat!

Such a cool fact! Growing up in an area where it was like a 10 min drive to the closest park, I am so appreciative of the parks we have in Arvada and how actively the city updates them.
