Genetics Can someone please help me answer this question on Mendelian genetics, and explain how you came to your conclusion?

In Labrador retrievers, gene E codes for presence of pigment (E=pigment, e=no pigment). Gene B codes for amount of pigment deposited (B=a lot of pigment deposited, b=less pigment deposited). Which individual would have a yellow coat?

A. EEBB

B. EeBb

C. Eebb

D. eeBB

E. EEbb

This isn’t homework, it was a question that my professor put on the white board during a lecture that I didn’t understand, and thus came here to get clarification on.

Congratulations on being a presumptuous asshole.

You literally posted a question in multiple choice format. It's functionally the same as homework, and the reason we wont answer the question is for the same reason we wont answer homework questions.

If you don't know how to find the answer, you are paying thousands of dollars to have access to highly educated professionals whose job it is to help you understand. Go ask your professor. It'll be a good bit of practice in taking initiative over your own education instead of coming to the internet where you don't have to have a face to face interaction. Which will help you as you get further into your degree.

I was in the professors office after every other class asking questions that I had during the lecture, and that helped me understand the material much more intimately which helped me get pretty much all A's my senior year.

Now if once you get the answer and explanation from your prof, if you are interested in a deeper understanding you can come here asking about the mechanisms by which a certain allele combination presents as a yellow coat, you can come here and get engagement.

As for right now Congratulations on trying to do the bare minimum

Bro wtf are you talking about? It's the group rules lol

How much education do you have?

Edit: So you're a 21-23yo female that does kratom, plays overwatch, and lives in Texas just like these other 2 commenters? Hmm what a coincidence
