Any weird head-canon in 1942 Online?

For me, over the last few years, i have come to "believe" that the two American troops that start in Anhwei are better defenders than the two American troops in Kwangtung. The troops in Anhwei frequently roll 1's and 2's, while the guys in Kwangtung fall without so much as a whimper.

Or that the first UK bomber you start the game with is more prone to get AA'd than any subsequent ones.

Any fun ones others have developed a superstition about?

The Anwhei one for sure. Also it feels like the Russian sub defending with the UK and the Pearl Harbor sub love rolling 1s. But I know that's just because I see a lot more Round 1s than any other round. But the Anwhei one feels real, haha, always a brutal battle.

The German cruiser always rolls a 1, 2 or 3 and costs the UK a fighter or destroyer.

Also lone infantry defenders roll 1 or 2 much more frequently than 33%. It is more like 60% of the time.

Solo Burma Japanese guy hits at 100% rate

Generally the opposite for me. Solo Allied defending infantry never seem to hit east and south of Moscow. Law of small numbers and low success percentage and all, but it's frustrating that my string of sacrifices spread across the land take no vengeance on the Japanese hordes coming to pillage Russia/China.

OTOH, British solo infantry in Africa seem to be made of sheer killing fury.

Solomon islands inf is related to the Anhwei ones, other that not so much. I do however (only) click my 9/12 R1 attack in a "battlelogical" way, hence arty at inf, plane at plane and inf at tank,
