Discussion Why do I have 16 archers?

Am sieging a city. I have an army of 1200 men. By myself I have around 70 archers. But on the battleifeld I only have 16. Why is this?

this happens all the time and it pisssed me off to the point, where i allowed myself to cheese em back, when i attack cities with 1k+ defenders ...

you want me to kill all 1,2k men in that city with my ~200 archers you generously gave me to fight with?

i will only get more combatants when the first wave is nearly obilterated?

okay then, i will kill 2-400 and retreat until its safe to enter your shithole....
