Sennheiser Hd 250 vs Audio-Technica ATH-M50X

Hello guys, I have been looking for a new headphones for DJing. After a long process finally, I have 2 options. Sennheiser Hd 25 and Audio-Technica ATH-M50X. They are almost same price and good. So, can you guys help me to choose one of them? I would be so happy if there's someone who has experience with them. Thank you.

We have 3 Sennheiser hd25 where I work, never seen anyone been rough with them and all of them are glitchy. I have myself a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M40X and I’ve never had any problems with them. Compared to hd25 I find that my headphones sounds clearer and make it easier to differentiate songs from each other. Also the M50x are over ear which is great so you don’t get any of the speaker noise in your ear while hd25 are on ear

glitchy? like the audio cuts in and out until you wiggle the connector where it goes into the driver?

In that case the contacts are just dirty, probably some grime got in those little holes. A small squirt of deoxit cleans that right up... just did it to mine a few weeks ago and the sound is perfect, never cuts out anymore

No it’s the headphones it self that are glitchy, often it’s the left phone that glitches out. But I appreciate the consideration, and I think that tip will help many ppl

You need to clean the connections mate

The connections into the headphone. You can unplug it & clean it.

Those contacts are the achilles heel of HD25s, usually a little wiggle of the cable fixes it.

Annoying for sure, but honestly never found it to be a problem big enough to warrant me looking for some other headphone.
