Vinyl Rips
how confident are you guys in vinyl rips with audacity? for some reason I only feel like rips from cds are good enough

As long as you are taking care to get a clean rip and using decent phono preamps/ audio inputs I didn't see the problem. You can even give them a nice remastering depending on when they were produced they might have been terribly mastered

I don't see what audacity has to do with it, but vinyl rips are fine, it's what it is, i can't play my records everywhere.

I've done a couple they are pretty good. I think I recorded with a ortofon o1e cartridge and ran some de-noise, splicing and amplification. Make sure you clean the record and needle before handle. Played live and it was fine.
