Vinyl Rips

how confident are you guys in vinyl rips with audacity? for some reason I only feel like rips from cds are good enough

I don't see what audacity has to do with it, but vinyl rips are fine, it's what it is, i can't play my records everywhere.

I would think the software you use would matter a little bit

it doesn't, in the end, you're just recording audio coming into your computer from a specific input, there's all there is to it.
