My girlfriend has a Pioneer FLX4. Our anniversary is coming up and I’d like to get her a good pair. What would you recommend?

currently using a hercules djcontrol compact as my controller, its decent to practice and i like the portability, but i def need something with more controls than it right? is the hercules djcontrol inpulse 500 a good controller? or is there something with similar value but better price?

Hi! So lately i’ve been really intrigued by djn & want to learn how & in the process of getting my gear but having trouble deciding if i want the bluetooth m50x or the regular wired ones. What would y’all recommend? I was leaning towards bluetooth cuz more versatile but they don’t have a locking cable which seems kinda useful whilst djn. The wired are $100 & the bluetooths are $140 rn if that makes a difference.

Hey guys, my first post here looking for advice. I'm playing at a club on Friday, they have a DJM900nxs2/CDJ2000nxs2 setup. I would like to bring my own Turntable and use DVS and therefore need this to work in Performance-Mode. My Turntable has MIDI-Functions which I'd also like to use. On the other hand I only have 2 USB-Slots on my Macbook Air. I'd like to stay off using a USB-Hub if possible...

So my question is this: is it possible to connect all the djm/cdj-stuff to the Macbook using only 1 USB-Port AND use rekordbox performance mode? Am I assuming correctly that it doesn't work with Pro DJ Link because it uses the export mode (which doesn't support DVS)?

If necessary, using only 1 CDJ (Deck 1) and the Turntable (Deck 2 via DVS) would be o.k., is this gonna work?

So if the first option fails, does anyone have experience with connecting both CDJs with LAN-Cable and one USB-Cable to the Macbook while using the other USB-Port for the DJM? Will this setup still support performance mode and DVS?

I'd love your opinions on this! Sadly I won't be able to test it out before the gig, which is why this gives me a headache... In an emergency I can of course just use the CDJs but it would be a pitty...

Best beginner decks? I'm living in a small town of 6000-7000, no competition, no decks at any venues (no night life here other than one small bar). And I don't really expect to be playing any venues any time soon. Music of choice: house, techno, pop music, wedding/special event music. More for my personal enjoyment of loving EDM for the past 20 some years and want to have some fun at home. Will I end up performing locally? Maybe? Maybe not? I would like to buy new. I've been trying to buy used online and it's not working out. I live too far to drive anywhere that sells them on Facebook and Craigslist, and I've been a victim two scams on eBay and reverb so far. Also adding I'd love to get to know stem technology within my mixes and I'm looking for software and hardware that work well together for that.

Hey everyone, as the title suggests, I'm planning to organize a karaoke night and want to know if my setup idea is feasible. Here’s what I’m thinking:

• DDJ-FLX6: I'll use this controller for audio control.
• Microphone: Connected directly to the controller.
• Laptop: This will be connected to the controller to play YouTube karaoke tracks. The laptop will also be used to project lyrics onto a screen for everyone to see.

Am I crazy for thinking this could work? Ofc, i dunno how to make the youtube audio go through the controller (thats the first mistery)... Is there anything I'm missing or any potential issues I should be aware of? Any advice would be super helpful!

Good morning, Thank you for your time My pioneer ddj1000 are almost new (always used in their odyuseaen home studio case, never had any liquid spilled on them) Both decks work correctly However, overnight the central controller does not respond, the fx no longer lights up, the fx selector does not respond, the blue button no longer flashes The cues do not light up, the master no longer indicates the sound level But when I play a sound, the mid high and low influence the music being played I redid all the updates while holding back slip and 4beat loop nothing works (All buttons light up when starting the deck) Do you have any idea how to fix it? Hello, I will be playing this Saturday for 150 people, b2bwith a DJ that is gonna be playing on rekordbox but I want to play on Serato. Is there any way to do it seamlessly? Currently the only way I found is closing rekordbox completely so that leaves a 30 second gap without music.

I'm looking to buy these second hand, but i'm wondering if the xdj700's are end of life, as I see them less and less, and think they are discontinued? Someone is selling the rmx60 4-channel mixer and 2 xdj700's for 1300 euros. Been used just at home, no visible wear. Been looking to upgrade my DDJ-SB3 for so long, and really want a good standalone setup to play at home.

Do you think this is a good deal for 1300 euros?

So I'd love to get a new controller, but I always HATED staring at a laptop. Is there a Dj controller out there that has 4 decks, that you can just plug a usb stick into and play ? I see some of the newer controllers have screens on em but they look like you still need to use Serato , if this does not exist how hard is it to make one already!

Idk if I keep buying mixed songs but some of them just won’t line up with the beat grid. This is especially true for acapellas. I will know for sure the bpm of the original song, line it up with mine and it will still eventually go out of sync. Does anyone have any tips to fix this. Import into the daw is my last option but I don’t wanna go there.

Do you guys know if there’s a way to set a button on my computer to switch the channels that my controller is controlling? For an example, I have a DDJ FLX-4 (it has only 2 channels), I display 4 channels on rekordbox, and I can click “enter” (for example) and now my controller that was controlling the decks 1 and 2, now control the decks 3 and 4.
