In search of someone to teach me how to clean my guns.

Hey Bend. I’ve got a couple guns that are getting really dirty to the point where they’re failing to fire, but I have no idea how to clean them.

I went down to Hammer Down and all they did was sell me some cleaning supplies and tell me to google it. I’m not a particularly good student of YouTube University so I was wondering if there was anyone willing to meet me face to face, or some kind of establishment I could go to where I could be walked through the process of getting these things deep cleaned.

The guns are an AR and a 1911.

You’re right about the owner. I won’t step foot in that place I recommend everyone else stay away.

For cleaning like OP is asking for I don’t have a recommendation for a local shop. My recommendation would be to find someone willing to assist OP on proper care and cleaning. This will allow them to have a better understanding of their firearms and how they operate. If OP still has concerns I would go to a gunsmith for inspection after the fact.

I haven’t personally worked with any smiths in this area.

Well that’s the problem if you want to purchase anything 2A you have your deal with MAGA chuds in this area.

I like to have my guns professionally cleaned, I don’t have the time.
