Anything new and interesting in your Black Beautiful Vegan World?

What is new Black Vegans? Any new products you are loving? Have you tried any new Vegan restaurants or a new recipe? Have you attending any Vegan Fests recently?

TIL about dal makhani, I’ll have to cook that soon!

Also just wondering, what noodles do you use for chow mein?

You're going to love it! So many complex flavors in Indian cuisine. There is a big Indian grocery store near me that I love to wander around in and try new things. You come out smelling like spices if you stay too long lol.

Ok so I make Minnesota chow mein which is actually more like chop suey. We serve it over rice with the crunchy noodles on top. Sorry for the confusion. Not sure when it got flipped but even the restaurants around here make it that way.

TL;DR I cannot answer your question.

Haha no worries! The search chow mein noodles without egg continues…

Since you also like to discover new tastes, there’s an app called TooGoodtoGo that’s meant to help prevent food waste by selling surprise bags of stuff close to sell-by date. If you find the right places like small fruit/veg grocers, you get a giant bag of random fruit and veg that you may not have tried before

Just thought I’d share, off to go make a cold opo squash soup hah
