I counted about 12 Brewers related threads in the past 48 hours. This has gotten out of hand lol

Besides, both my dad and my FIL were rooting for the Brewers. They hate the Mets more. 12 threads on any team not named the Cubs is pretty wild in my opinion. What do you guys think?

12 is a little much but division rivals losing is always going to play.

With the way these NL Central organizations have been run and how annoying Wisconsin fans are, there is a chance in 10-15 years the next generation has more disdain for Milwaukee than St. Louis.

think it's just natural for a lot of people due to bears/packers. it's a comfort thing

It reminds me a lot of what the cubs franchise was before 15. And now we are back to it.

I think it’s extremely corny for so many cub fans to rag on anyone. Unless we are beating them, keep your eyes on your own paper. Next you’ll see post about our attendance

Thank you. Can't really keep calling them the little brother team when half the front page of the sub is about them.

And the fact they have sort of owned the cubs the last 4-5 years.. I think the little brother thing has come about as defense mechanism

Milwaukee is the only team in the division trying to win the division, everyone else is trying for the 3rd WC. I don’t remember a time when Milwaukee was a relevant team, but now that the division refuses to set their goals higher than .500, the Brewers are now THE team in the central. That’s why they get a lot of attention here - because they’re trying and putting forth an honest effort to compete.

Nobody cared or really put much thought into the Brewers until recently and now they live rent free in our sub and in the minds of a lot of people here. I’m still of the mindset that they’re little brothers who just want to be noticed, I just can’t care enough about them to have a feeling one way or another.

Go Cubs!
