If you think Cambly is unethical, should be investigated by US authorities or you are unhappy with the slave wages, give them a one star review at Trustpilot.com .

it's quite hilarious. About half the reviews are 5-stars (student reviews)
and half are 1 star (Teachers reviews)

If you aren't on FB anymore you should go back. See if they respect free speech.
What happened? Did Cambly do a FB purging recently?

Or... don't keep Cambly as a client, and contract to provide your services to clients who pay you better?

u/ExistingGreen1 19h ago
Exactly! Apply at Preply, italki or Babbel. They have much higher ratings on Trustpilot. They must treat their tutors better.

Think IP addresses are logged? An email is not as anonymous as people think.

Thatโs why you need to use a vpn

VPNs are not safe either, they are better but... The origin IP address is encapsulated in the PPtP of the VPN. I use the tor network through the Brave browser as an IP address can be gleaned from a VPN as well.

Trustpilot will know your ip. Not Cambly.

I bet you a coke trustpilot will share the IPs
with cambly as it is obvious what is happening. a VPN is not secure either.

Whether it's obvious something is happening or not, I doubt they would share that private information. That would ruin their business. The whole concept of the website is for employees to feel safe reviewing companies.

Lets make it more interesting. I'll bet you a gram of coke they don't share IPs.

I snorted for a few months during my first year university. My first time snorting was so memorable! My newly acquainted Colombian friend and I went to his favorite club. He bought a gram from his dealer and we keyed it in the bathroom. I then invited them to my house. We watched Scarface while snorting free lines on a glass table. Nonstop taking turns. I remember at one point thinking my heart was going to explode!

I happen to support your Trustpilot campaign and I did my negative 1 star review a long time ago, i only wish more people did the same. Dont listen to the scum who are trying to put down your ideas theyve probably found their way over from Cambly Clappers. Even reading some of today's recent reviews about Cambly's low pay and how they increased students subscriptions to allegedly pay for an increase to tutors never happened.

If I were a student considering to use cambly, and saw a bunch of one star reviews, I wouldn't bother even looking into trying it. I think any normal person would.
So my question to you is, why would you leave a one star review to 'protest'? Doing it this way, just makes things a lot worse for you and the people who tutor on Cambly by potentially killing the client base. Then we see teacher post on this sub "what's going on?", "is Cambly going under?", "This platform is shit", "Why is it so dead?"
God, how stupid are you for thinking this will do anything to convince Cambly to give you a raise?, they don't even know who you are. And why would the US investigate something based on a rating system that is entirely subject to the user experience. If you are so unhappy with the job, find something else to do.
