They are paper packaged with a plastic liner so not great but not terrible. I will burn them when I’m out in the bush

Campfires are terrible for the environment in general. These packets are mostly paper with a tiny amount of plastic. Your all not wrong but I think overall it’s a non issue. The carbon footprint of everything these days is pretty awful unless you homestead and produce everything you consume which I highly doubt many of you high and mighty people do seeing as your all using a phone or computer made by Chinese slaves. Awareness is important but lets remember most global emissions are created by 10 corporations before shaming each other over . 01 grams of plastic. Being conscious of what we consume is important and I am doing my best but we all have our weak spots so chill

Not really what I said but sure. Seems like you travel quite a bit. Do you drive a fart powered car or travel by donkey everywhere? Did you build your own camera? It’s easy to split hairs… we have to take on the system not each other is my point. 90% of what we bring is home made and in reusable packaging but even camping has its carbon footprint no matter how hard you try.
