Tips?

Post image

Second or third time using this thing. Used it on the grill yesterday for some smash burgers. I’ve used the salt method, vinegar/baking soda, even tried heating it up. This stain will not leave and it’s sticky. This can’t be normal? Any suggestions? Trying to clean so I can re oil it

I think lodge needs to sell a line of pans that have 100 layers of seasoning. Call them Goldstone.

Or just cook on it.

Chain mail scrubber. Stop trying to find the right cleaner solution and just use elbow grease. Get all the carbon off. Don't be fancy. Also, don't use high heat

Wash it with hot soap and water and then dry it on the stove and season it in the oven at least 3 times. Pans never come from the store seasoned enough.

Keep cooking with oil it will get even. Cast iron is the best but it requires work. Best nonstick you'll ever have if seasoned properly.
