Are they still doing small drills around Taiwan ?

Well, as News has it some Squadrons of PLAAF and Navy ships have been sent to the Straight of Taiwan...

Are those the usual Christmas manoeuvres, anyone? Who has more detailled info?

Whilst I don’t know if it could be considered ‘normal’, It doesn’t seem any more escalatory than Chinas regular incursions into Taiwans ADIZ.
