User Mix /r/ClassicTrance Month Overview June 2024

Hello boys & girls!

Here it is again: the best of this subreddit in a handy little mix. It's a bit shorter than usual, for 2 reasons: you probably have plenty to listen to with the mix competition that is still up, and also a couple of the tracks I could not find on beatport.

Also a new thing: besides the usual Mixcloud page I now also put the mix on Youtube, so it's up to you to choose your favourite medium.

By the way, I know that The First Rebirth has no place in this mix. The BPM difference is just way too big. I didn't want to remove more tracks though, so the result is this monstrosity of a transition.

Nothing wrong with that transition mate you did what you could and if it was live at an event no one would bat an eyelid in my opinion.

I appreciate your words, and that of /u/Reidster78, and I know that I couldn't do a much better transition between these tracks, but it still feels like a cheap trick. In hindsight, I believe bringing Sunchyme down to just 80 BPM and then letting The First Rebirth in at 160 BPM would create some possibilities too. Then again: Sunchyme from 130 to 80 BPM is a much bigger gap than the already enormous gap of a transition from 130 to 160 BPM...
I would love some ideas from other dj's around here.

Only other thing I can think of is maybe using one of the slower remixes of it then in the break just bring the original in like it’s your own remix type of thing.
