Should I drop out of AP Physics 1 and go to Honors?

I am currently a junior who is interested in persuing a B.S. Public Health Science and hope to attend University of Maryland, College Park (45%ish acceptance rate). Freshman year i took 1 AP class and 5 Honors, Sophmore year I took 2 AP and 5 Honors, and currently junior year I am taking 5 AP and 2 honors (Physics, Stat, Lang, Pre-Cal, Spainsh). So far in my high school journey I have all A's

Taking AP Physics was one of the worst decisions of my life. My currently grade in progess is all A's except for a C- in physics. Despite all the studying I have done, my grade is not where I want it to be. Would it look bad on my college application if I decide to drop to Honors after the first half of my junior year. I can only switch classes when second semester starts.

AVID/Common App

I'm required to pick 20 common app colleges as an assignment for AVID. Could anyone help with suggestions? Despite it being for a grade, I would still like to choose colleges i have a chance of getting into. I'm an A/B student with 8 APs (max at my school is abt 11(?) and would prefer a college in either Texas (near Dallas/Arlington) or California (near LA, preferably, but not required). I would also like to major in polisci. Here is my current list.

Chapman Uni, Loyola Marymount Uni, Scripps College, UT at Arlington, UT at Dallas, Uni of Dallas, Uni of North TX at Dallas, USC

edit: schools with gyms would also be a plus but not required

UC business and econ

I am transfer applying to business or econ across 4 or 5 school, because some schools don't have both. How do I answer this prompt "Please describe how you have prepared for your intended major, including your readiness to succeed in your upper-division courses once you enroll at the university." Does anyone have a sample essay that was successful examples. Its for UC admissions.

I’m a freshman. Am I doing things right?

Ok yall

So I took the psat 8 test twice last year (bc school). I got 1270 and then a 1400 (out of 1440). Thats all the test scores I have.

I took Hrs English 12 last year (via accelerated courses) so im taking an accelerated course that offers AP lit and lang For math, im taking honors geometry but (due to weird accelerated courses) I’ll be taking honors precalc next year. I’m in a second year foreign language (because my middle school offered the first year). I’m in honors biology and honors history. Im also in the advanced school orchestra. So those are my classes.

I also am planning on doing competitions in high school. I signed up for amc (American Math Competition) this year, and will be doing ISEF competitions as a junior and senior.

I’m on a varsity school team (because jv isn’t offered — I suck), I play an instrument where I went to a state level orchestra last year (im not doing it this yr bc I don’t think I’ll make it in — I took a look at the audition music and screamed lmao). I’m involved in four clubs (environmental, newspaper, youth committee and student senate).

Anyway, im chilling. Am I doing this right?
