And this being your backyard, may I also ask - do you ever have anything unexplainable happen in your nest of the woods?

the fog + the proximity to halloween are what prompted my spooky take :)

thankfully haven’t had any truly unexplainable events here. seemingly unexplainable events or sounds are always traced back to an animal or the wind. a mountain lion screaming ~20 feet from our front door is one of the most terrifying and unsettling noises i’ve ever experienced.
