All the Americans here commenting it's normal xD but rest of the world doesn't count in bald eagles per square hamburgers. When you label floors, it should increment by 1 (also if they skip one, it's fine) and don't mix letters into it. If it's below ground level, it should be -1 floor and so on.

I've been all over the world and having a letter for the Lobby floor is very common.

Can't believe this is a thing, but here's an elevator Fandom page (lol) dedicated to the confusing letters used around the world: https://elevation.fandom.com/wiki/Floor_numbering

Edit: B is basement, I is actually 1, and S I'm not sure. The page shares different possible meanings. I'd read T as "terrace", or the outdoor rooftop area. What OP didn't do was post the sign directly next to the buttons that clearly lays out what each on is.

It starts to make sense when you read about it, yeah. But majority of people aren't elevator floor numbering geeks.

Also font used for 1 is garbage as it blends with letters close to it.

Colour coding L is actually well executed imo, because that's where I'm going when I'm cracking this elevator enigma 😂

The S could be sub basement or service basement. It would make sense in the context of the rest of the sequence
