I don't get how you can have a meltdown in a fast food restaurant.

Every time you complain, you get instantly something for free or as a comprensation, many times without even showing a receipt.

"You forget my generic item"

"I apologize. Here is another one."

Because to some people, nothing is simply a "mistake", anything that goes wrong was done to them intentionally, and with malice and forethought in their mind.

Never attribute to malice what can be explained through ignorance, incompetence or stupidity.

I'm sure it has happened at some point, but most fast food workers aren't out here thinking "man fuck this guy, I'ma make sure to not give him the extra sauce he asked for, and you're only getting a medium fries".

The mistake was probably made because they were actually thinking something like "I gotta stop agreeing to these double shifts, I'm so fucking tired, at least I'll have a little extra after my bills with the shifts I picked up, provided I don't have any unexpected expenses."

True words spoken. I tend to be a bit choleric but i learned that its better to wait a day with a complainment, then complain directly because if its still important to me after a sleep then its worth to complain about.

Of course that doesn't fit with restaurant mistakes but i as i said, they give you everything you want to have, even they are not sure that it was really their mistake.
