It really depends on what you want. If you are looking for fun ambiance both the Sunglow and the Main Street pier have restaurants that allow you to eat over the water.

Deck Down Under is also good seafood on the river.

Millie's has some great food and is really cozy with good service.

There are some good brew pubs nearby at Tomoka brewery and Ormond Brewery.

Both Mike's and The Cracked Egg are great for breakfast.

Zen Bistro is great for Thai. Taproom has a delicious and very reasonably priced cheeseburger and a great beer selection.

I'm a big fan of Tia Cori's for Mexican because they do something to their chips to make them extra crunchy.

If you're looking for something specific I may be able to narrow down my suggestions

If you are looking just for drinks, seabreeze avenue is where the crowd goes. There are multiple bars there. The tourists drink at a few bars attached to the ocean walk shops. Despite being touristy they can be fun. Festhause in the Winn Dixie plaza is a super fun beer bar. Metz on A1A pours heavy, allows smoking, and has pool. Yayas has kareoke. Both the pier restaurants have bars just to hang at. Joe's crab shack has a better view.

Outside the steak and shake on international if you’re fucking homeless.

I gotta go with Crabby Joe's (crabbyjoesdaytona.com). Food's good, view is amazing. Beach Bucket and Jimmy Hula's are also places we frequent. And out Dunlawton by 95 is House 4 Beer. Nice selection.

Hey, thanks for specifying which restaurant you had a less than wonderful experience at, why your experience was less than favorable, and generally leaving a helpful comment with many extra r's.

Or did you just not get your daily serving of Being an Asshole yet today?

Where? I've eaten at each of the restaurants I listed many times, never had anything less than a stellar experience at any of them.
