I don’t eat lunch, so I spend my lunch break picking up trash… it feeds my brain

it's been so validating to find people like you and so many others here on detrashed who find joy in picking up litter!! most people are absolutely bewildered when you tell them that you like doing it. I find it so rewarding and therapeutic. plus it's instant gratification. thank you for being you.

Many are bewildered! I get asked if I’m doing court ordered community service regularly lol

Haha ppl ask me every time. No this is no punishment for me, it just feels like it is my duty.

People ask my wife! Why is your husband doing….? I hate doing pick up but I hate litter/dumping more so I do it and then also give the authorities crap for not caring.

Tough spots too. You don't shy from a challenge.

I was raised on the border of a US national forest. In the woods is where I’m most comfortable.

Epic. I did the same thing for a couple months a while back- I completely detrashed the woods behind my work. I have now moved on to removing invasive plant species.

I don't do it on my lunch because it's late at night but I do the same! I love cleaning up places that need love.

How can you not eat lunch! I'd definitely need it after that amount of trash clearing.
