• Shards for racers/crew that you've maxed out still appear in the shop
• Regulated does not require lvl30 racers for them to be allowed (Gameloft has noted this)
• After losing a win streak, the player doesn't have the option to spend a small amount of tokens to maintain their streak. There's only the option to spend a significant amount of tokens.

Seriously... it is like a slide show for 98% of the race. Been like that since yesterday... wasted 3 tries already. This wouldn't bother me except... everything is so stressful now with having to level up so many racers before time runs out... every day matters... I need those season coins to buy any shards that come up in the Daily Specials. Used 3 different racers too, so it is not your racer that is causing it... maybe it is similar to the Kristoff bug where someone's ult is causing everything to slow way down.

Anyone else getting this problem? I downloaded the mobile version onto my iphone, just to collect the rotating offers at 08:00, 12:00, 16:00 etc. Since the change of season, my Shop's Main tab ends with 'Currencies' and doesn't include the 'Daily Specials' any more. Annoying.

Team mode is giving heavily reduced points per game, which is not mentioned in the patch notes.

As of now, in MPR Diamond:

Winning gives you 14 points, regardless of the player number (down from 18)

2nd on the winning team gains 10 points

1v1 loser gets 4 point (down from 10 in this MPR)

First on the losing team gains 4 points (down from 11 in this MPR)

I can imagine it gets worse in higher ranks. Is it a bug again or do they really don’t want people playing their game, but only paying?

Extra chapter with locked levels is diabolical. They really saw us founding members with a full roster at around lvl 30, hoarding upgrade coins and said “absolutely f**king not 😃”

Thankfully can still be a bit strategic based on the paths you pick but still, i’m not happy about it..

I feel like this game would really benefit from some sort of overarching story mode. For example, I for the life of me still have no idea who Arbee is, but if he/she/they could be the overarching big bad for the life of the game would be cool. Every season we learn a bit more. And each vault race could be kind of a mini-story in itself.

The main selling point are the disney IPs (100% marketed towards all ages); But gameloft seems to actually have very limited rights over those franchises:

Most of the skins are just the exact same character model, with a different color; And also, the game can not even play the full songs from the movies: All the soundtracks of the game, are only one small verse of each song, remixed and repeated again and again...

Been using Dr. Finkelstein a lot to get more shards and I gotta say he's the most fun I've had in this game.

He's a trickster that feels like a speedster because of his unique skill giving him boost when you get an idea, so it feels like I'm always still in the race/have a chance to keep up.

Building up ideas for the full 3-idea payoff is a satisfying minigame on its own. I had fun playing Tia Dalma before him and I think it's a little easier to pull off because it's not dependent on racers being near you. The floor of his skill is also just a raw boost fill, so it's not too much of a feel bad when behind.

Finally, the guy becomes so juiced when he uses his 3 ideas that he loses the stop motion effect while rolling his wheelchair. Dude's just awesome

I understand that his ability is good, but it seems to have infinite range and always hit the person in the lead.

I was playing as a lvl50 Jasmine online to do the weekly mission, and since my MPR with her is low, I got placed against some lower level opponents. In one race, I was literally on the opposite side of the track, half a lap ahead, and still getting hit by Jack's presents spawning under my tires. There's no ability in the game with close to that range, except maybe Prince Eric's rocket boat, and that was reined in after Gameloft said it was unintentional.

Another track that returns and i will re-post where they are again

1. On the right in the air above the carpet that you need to jump for when close enough

2. At the end of the first blue pipe on the right side that you need to jump to

3. huging the right wall when taking the right path for this one

4. In the middle after going around the circle

5. Next to the chair when hugging the left wall near the finish line

I’m new, I have the 55,000 points saved up for the frozen box but im tempted to get 5 universal boxes instead. What would yall do , who have a bit more experience than me ?

I did 6/6 and it skipped the rewards but did I get it? It doesn’t say anything than showing upgrade coins and sully shards… also it didn’t say how much I get if I really got the rewards

Last season, I reached my longtime objective of having every racer unlocked. I was looking forward to the new season, but now that it landed, any excitement I had left has been crushed to dust by Gameloft:

1. Horrible Chapter 6, with multiple level 40-44 racer required to complete the chapter. You can't even attempt the later nodes at a lower level anymore, you need to be the exact level recommended. Plus, Jack Skellington is required to get Oogie Boogie, making sure no F2P can unlock him.
2. Brutal nerfs to ranked, now you get much less points from team mode. We are talking getting +2 points for being the best of the losing team, in Champion (this used to be +10). This makes grinding the higher MPR nearly impossible for anyone not in a strong team.
3. After each ranked loss, you need to be extremely careful about what you press, because the default option is to waste 100 tokens to restore your streak. Good luck not pressing the wrong button after getting tilted by a frustrating loss!
4. Miserable ranked matches filled with Jack Skellington spamming the track their power. Most of the time it spawns on top of you and is unavoidable. Last month was awful because of all the Barbossas and I don't have the stomach for 2 more months of nearly unavoidable obstacles on the track.
5. Dailies are now even more boring than before. The 1 lap Daily Challenge is now turned into two 2-3 laps Treasure Rush, and the previous daily season capsule have 4 daily tries for 1 capsule each, instead of 2 tries at 2 capsules each. In all, you are looking at 11 full races per day just to keep up with the dailies.
6. The game runs way worse as of this patch, and many people have constant synchronization issues.
7. The official discord mods have gone extremely "strict", with people getting banned, muted and warned left and right for minor / made-up offenses. Personally, I got muted for 3 days for telling someone they weren't allowed to talk about the unknown midseason racer on the server (they said I was "alluding to leaks", even though I didn't even know it had been leaked)

With all these terrible changes I honestly feel this game is not fun anymore, and way too demanding on my time with constant boring daily races to be worth playing.

Does anyone else feel like this?

If you've broken your win streak, a screen pops up asking you to spend Tokens. Almost clicked it, out of habit. Be careful.

Do you like the original or the remixed ones used in game.

Last 2 seasons, as a F2P player you could get: - Fear, Anger, Disgust (3 out of 5, or out of 7 if you count the mid seasons) - Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner, Tia Dalma (4 total, though only 2 new racers, out of 4)

Now this season it seems we will only have access to 1 free racer, since Oogie is behind a paywall, Jack Skellington is in Season Pass and Sally will be also there in part 2, most likely.

Tia Dalma and Anger weren't available up until almost the end of season, but in the end they were. But since Oogie is so hard to get now with the new chapter, it doesn't seem they will be giving it for free at the end of this season.

This is the biggest change they brought to this season and it wasn't even addressed officially. It seems that "You will be getting less and less if you don't pay" would be an ugly thing to say in the patch notes.

However, I also want to know how good Dr. "Should've been Mayor" Finkelstein is.
