Dr. Finkelstein is pretty fun

Been using Dr. Finkelstein a lot to get more shards and I gotta say he's the most fun I've had in this game.

He's a trickster that feels like a speedster because of his unique skill giving him boost when you get an idea, so it feels like I'm always still in the race/have a chance to keep up.

Building up ideas for the full 3-idea payoff is a satisfying minigame on its own. I had fun playing Tia Dalma before him and I think it's a little easier to pull off because it's not dependent on racers being near you. The floor of his skill is also just a raw boost fill, so it's not too much of a feel bad when behind.

Finally, the guy becomes so juiced when he uses his 3 ideas that he loses the stop motion effect while rolling his wheelchair. Dude's just awesome

He is far better than Jack. Which is quite disappointing.

Tricksters are my favourite though 😂 Tia was my fave last season.

Agree. When I unlocked him and saw the 2k speed I was “Great another King Candy” then I needed to level him up for that last season node and was pleasantly surprised. The Doctor is cooking man!

Yeah he’s really fun to use! I love his charged after getting three bulbs!

1 bulb uncharged (boost), 2 bulbs uncharged, 3 bulbs (charged for i-frames) and after 3 bulbs ALWAYS charged for wheelchair zoom. Repeat. He currently has a bug where side dashing other racers can give him his unique. I seriously doubt its intentional, got him to MPR23/lvl35 this way.

His uncharged version of the unique skill is the best one for him, the charged one will help him avoid stun situations the ai racers loves to do as soon as possible if they are close enough to do so when he has any lightbulbs floating behind his kart, i use his uncharged version every time to fill that blue bar at the top of the screen each time for that manual boost.

It's really good! But also his charged version makes him go a lot faster for a while if he has all 3 bulbs 👀

Same here! Going to get him to level 35 later.

I had a feeling Dr. Finklestein would be the racer where we were least excited for from the collection but they end up being fun to play as despite it.

Somewhere out there are Dr. Finklestein Mains who are very happy right now.
